A number of year 3 pupils from Elmwood Junior School visited the church on Tuesday, 22 November. They came last year as year 2s – so this year we talked in depth about the symbols of Christian Baptism (Christening): oil, water and light and how God is ‘well pleased’ with all his sons and daughters. Also, as it’s coming towards Christmas we looked at the stained glass window of the nativity scene which is on the east wall of the church.
